The Brendan James Trio Live at Firefly Distillery

What: Brendan James returns to Firefly. Join James and his trio for an intimate night of stories and songs at the Firefly Distillery. This will be an indoor show, seated, with a maximum capacity of 120 guests. A quiet, listening-room atmosphere is appreciated. The full bar is available before and after the show.

'Into the Light'

What: It’s the quality of the light in the Lowcountry — sunrise, sunset and everything in between — that drives Helli Luck’s passion for painting in the coastal region of South Carolina. “For me, the light sculpts the image, which allows me to paint three-dimensionally,” says Luck. “The shape where the light and shadow meet provides a way for me to sculpture the piece.”

Resin Flow Charcuterie Board Workshop

What: Resin Flow Art classes allow you to create beautiful resin-poured charcuterie boards. You will start by picking your board and selecting your color choices. Then you will be walked through step-by-step instructions on how to pour your colors and create your designs. Tickets must be purchased in advance. No experience necessary. Participants must be 13 and over. All materials are nontoxic and food grade safe.

What: Local artists Taylor and Connor Robinson handcraft textured sculptural paintings and reliefs under their trade name Visceral Home. Their work is textural, compositions grown from experimentation using contrasting natural earth compounds and unnatural elements to represent the complexities of mental health and substance use disorders.

SUSTO and Big Something

What: SUSTO will be returning to their Charleston roots with special guest Big Something, presented by 105.5 The Bridge. The band blends elements of rock, folk and electronic music, steeped in Southern gothic and psychedelia, all centered around the lyrical narrative of singer-songwriter Justin Osborne.

Intro to Climbing Technique

What: There's a lot to learn about climbing and starting out can be intimidating, but it doesn't have to be. Whether you're new to climbing, or just trying to get past the crux on your project, this Intro to Climbing Technique class will help you reach your climbing goals. This 90-minute class will help kick off your new adventure with a 1:6 instructor to student ratio and plenty of small group and partner work. Instruction takes place on both ropes and boulders.
